My career in the travel industry began over 20 years ago in Melbourne and has since spanned the globe.
Based in London for 12 years, I began as a travel agent and then branch manager at some of the largest branches of Thomas Cook.
As Account Manager and Global Director for one of the world’s largest travel technology providers I worked across United Kingdom, Dubai, South Africa, Singapore, Hong Kong, Canada, USA, Australia and New Zealand.
I’ve travelled the world as both a leisure and business traveller and I now want to take my passion and travel experiences back to sharing what I know with others.
Along with my wife we have founded My World Travel Concierge to share our passion with you.
Rachel Slattery
Being born in England and with Europe on my doorstep, travelling abroad was something we did from an early age and I soon realised how much I loved it. Freedom, fun, excitement and family time.
After completing a Masters in Travel, Tourism and Recreational Management I began as a Travel Agent, then Branch Manager and finally Training Manager with Thomas Cook.
Travelling has taken me to over 50 countries and since having my son Joshua, we continue to travel extensively as a family.
I want to pass my experiences and passion on to others again and I cannot think of a better way to do this than with my husband and son by my side.
